Member Rules

Clubs, clans and organizations bind together under certain principles of a philosophy or points of view to build and maintain like minded ambitions. The point of such an endeavor is to join together and build a culture/organization that is uniquely their own. Members keep such things within the organization to maintain the integrity of that self accomplishment. The 7th Ring has a foundation of rules and regulations in place to preserve the integrity of the members ambition, loyalty, and belonging. Without such a structure the clan would cease to function efficiently and strongly for the benefit of its members.

I. Cheating
Cheating: No cheating by any clan members will be tolerated. This is cause for permanent ban from our servers and immediate removal from the clan. This means no aim bots, radar hacks (or any other type of bot of hack), and noexploitation of any known game flaws. Just because it's in the game doesn't mean its fair to exploit it.

II. Respect
Be respectful of others. We have a no-tolerance policy for abusing any members within our clan, especially senior officers. This clan is about the enjoyment of gaming and will not tolerate hateful remarks geared towards its members or guests on its servers. Complaints will be handled on a case by case basis.

III. Sportmanship
Very simple. Be fair. If you lose the map don't complain about it. Do not accuse someone of cheating unless you have proof. (take a screen shot) Do not insult members of the other team. Trash talking is allowed between clan mates as long as it remains in good fellowship.

IV. Commitment
Be active. Members are encouraged to attend Clan nights if at all possible. Dues are required on a occasional basis to support the clans site and dedicated servers when neccessary. Extra funds will be used to support the clan in various endevours as voted on by the Clan members.

V. Forums
We expect the members of this clan to be fairly active on the forums. There isn't a set amount of posts you have to make or anything like that, but if you aren't active in the forums, you aren't active in the Clan. Just come in, post a bit, and interact with your Clan mates. This is the primary source of communication between the 7th Community therefore it is important to be active in this area. It is the responsibility of every member to know the contents of the Member Communication section in the forums.

VI. Tags
Members are expected to wear the clan tag. =]7[= Recruits are allowed to tag their names =]7[=Rec on approval of the recruitment officers. Removal of the Rec in your tag is dependent on your status as voted on by our senior members. Just because you become a recruit does not mean you will become a full member of this clan. You must first demonstrate your dedication, skill level, and team play abilities.

VII. Communications
All members will be required to have access to Team Speak as well as owning a headset with microphone. Boom/PC mics are not allowed because they have poor reception and more often than not we end up listening to your game play the entire time. In addition to that it is requested, but not required, for members to have some brand of messenger program (AIM or Xfire) This allows for quick communication between members when needed.

VIII. The Rest
All rules stated above are for the benefit of the clan as well as the members of the clan, and are subject to change at any time. If you don't like them, don't join. New recruits will have to agree that they have read these rules and will abide by them in order to become a member.
